I am so excited to get back to all the things I love and create new memories, and try new things as well. 2024 had many ups but it also had its downs and I am determined this year to focus more on all the positive and making it multiple. Whew, alright let's get into it!

If you have been following me on Instagram or TikTok then you are aware of my growing love for perfume and building a fragrance collection that I truly love. I started taking perfume serious back in 2023 and it has been such an amazing journey. I had always received samples (I have a jar full of samples that I keep to remember which ones I want to purchase) and decided it's time to be a big girl, I mean I am 30 something now. 

This is the NEW Givenchy Irresistible Nude Velvet Eau De Parfum. She is the newest flanker to their Irresistible collection, which released in 2024. This fragrance has notes of neroli, almond, ambrette, iris, rose, cedarwood, musk and rice powder. When I first read the notes list, I was very intrigued. I couldn't tell if this was going to be a hit or miss. At first spray, in the air, it smelt very heavy on the florals. As it dried down, it started to smell sweet and powdery. The next day, I decided to wear for the entire day to give it the true test.

At first, it smelt like playdough on my skin. It was almost horrid but I decided to give it some time. Once it started to settle I could smell the rose and iris which gave it this subtle juiciness. Once completely dried and blended in with my skin, I smelt like sweet, light almond cookies. I loved it! It is very subtle but still a very unique scent. It has a powdery feel to it, which gives it this freshness. I would wear this to brunch, church service, or even a wedding. Any outting that requires soft pastels, and florals. I truly believe this is the perfect spring scent. My rating is a 3.5/5! 🩷
