BEAUTY POST| NEW LIMITED EDITION MARY KAY WINTER 2015 SHEER DIMENSIONS POWDER AND MINERAL EYE COLOR QUAD

Hey Beavs! Finally I am showing you guys these gorgeous Holiday products from Mary Kay. They are both limited edition so you may want to get your's before they are gone.

Every season, Mary Kay releases either limited edition products are new products that are to be added to their regular line. This winter is no different. I decided to pick up the Sheer Dimensions Powder in Lace and the Mineral Eye Color Quad in Chai Late. Let's get into the details and these baddies!

My first impressions on this powder were mixed feelings. Before ordering it, I read the description which said that is was a sheer highlighting powder. This made me believe it had no shimmery effect at all. Once I received it my views changed. Yes it is sheer but it is still pigmented. I apply it using a blush brush, for a more intense look. It looks great against my skin tone, and does not come off as ashy. Lace has a warm coral undertone, which allows it to blend in with many skin tones, even you ladies that have deeper skin than me.

This is the second time Mary Kay has brought this eye quad back. Last winter, they sold out and that was a sign that everyone loved it! I never got my hands on it last year, but I am glad I did this time. I chose the more natural quad, Chai Latte for obvious reasons lol. The last shade in this quad is what caught my eye. It can be seen as either a very dark brown or a dark purple. I thought it to be purple but when I swatch it as you can see it is more of a dark brown with a slight purple undertone. How unique! The other three shades are perfect for lid colors during the holiday season. The first is a light cream almost white shade. It would look great paired with a dark purple glossy lip. The second shade is more of a shimmery mauve and can be worn all over the lid with a medium cream eye shadow in the crease. Pair this eye look with a bold black winged liner and nude lips. The third shade may look tricky to some but do not be afraid, This color is a darker mauve shade with a greige undertone. You can wear it with lots of lashes and a dark Outer V using some black eye shadow. Finish the look off with a dark red lip to give it that holiday pop.
