Happy New Year my loves!! 2025 has concluded it's run and I am so excited for brand new fresh start. Not necessarily new year new me, but definitely going to be making new or different choices and really pushing for my career. I am so happy to be diving back into fashion, styling, and shopping, the whole shabang. Last year really taught me that ignoring what I love to do will only make me miserable, so no more of that!

New year just so happens to be the last day of Kwanzaa, our Karuma festival, when we eat a huge meal, party, and open our ziwadi (gifts). It is a very intentional holiday for my family and this year we decided that our family principle for 2026 would be to work together to maintain and love our home. Not too much into that, but it is something we want our kids to full understand the importance of. We don't just get what we want because we asked, we need to work towards earning things but also actually caring for them when we do have them in our possession.

Okay, enough about my intentions for 2026, lets get into this easy yet subtly sexy outfit! I did some shoping last year, and I didn't post much about my finds but I have started to wear them. I paired the Shapermint Essentials Built In Bra Cami in Black with my white satin skirt and purple cardigan from Old Navy. Since we aren't going out, i wanted a cozy yet very me outfit to start the new year in. Literally very intentional.
